Fine work,krzychu!
You're really fond of 406!!!:p

I searched "cromatura plastica" and I found many companies nearby my homeplace, and even one specialized in car part restauration! (http://www.paginegialle.it/cromalt for those who are interested in)

I certainly will visit them in order to find a solution for my gearbox cap, in bad condition now.
Hope it's cheap:D

Bel lavoro, krzychu!

Hi Krzychu!
I'm gonna write in English, as I saw it's easier for you!
I'd just like to know one thing: As I found out, there are
some optionals that weren't available in Italy/France But just
in northern countries, like Germany and Poland.. Now, I'm searching
for one of them: Webasto System. Do you know what is it? It's that
Auxiliar power unit that works with Car's Computer, so you program it
and it goes burning a little quantity of fuel in the moments it is
set to do it and the result is that (expecially in the morning) when
you get there you can find cockpit (and engine, of course) already
on a right temperature.. do you think it might be possible to find
a used one up there? How much will it cost? I suppose it could be
possible to install it even on mine one without changing any more
important parts like Car's computer etc, but if I could know it
for sure.. so, If you can find these info that could be great!
Thanks a lot!:)

You can perform additional motor heating ,External 220V
set:
Heater, the cable connecting the grounding cable (220V extension cord into an outlet), zinc paste, mounting bracket, screw

Place of assembly:

The entire installation site should be clean with all kinds of dirt, sand, and should be removed any kind of inequality to avoid heat loss.

We put zinc paste

So it looks like after installation:
The original screw (lower) motor mounting bracket has been replaced (long) from the set.

Plug-in connector:

The cable 220 #8203;#8203;v

Connect the ground cable

Connect at night, and in the morning the engine is warm, very quickly we have heat in the cabin and easy starting
Power, 300 Watt heater

Unluckly To set up the external 220V Power Unit gotta have a private place where to park the car and plug it (in Italy no way to find it on public parkings like in sweden etc) and I Haven't any possibility to do it, so I might search for a Used Webasto unit and set it on my car. Now, my only doubt is: Do I need to change my entire Climatronic Panel System too (probably can't recognize it) or could I just update it? How much might I pay A used one up there in Poland? Here it's impossible to find it, we weren't sure of its existence at all!!!:D

I write in English because i think it's better if also our Polish friend understand.
It may be a solution. If the Webasto solution it's not high of power and time of heating, you can have 220 V in the car. With a good inverter you can transform 12 v continuous in 220 V alternated. If i remember well the 406 coupe battery is 80 Ah, which means about 1 kw per Hour. But when you transform in 220 V at the same consumption in 12 V you will have better power. Obvious, you can use only if in the same day you will drive for a lot of km.s to recharge the battery; obvious the battery life will decrease, But maybe (if the power loss of the inverter is not high). The solution can be good only if the original webasto is 220 V AC; if it is 12 v DC the consumption of battery will be dramatically high:

Thanks Franco, as I know Webasto solution works good for both sides, Engine and Cockpit. It doesn't charge any job on Car's Battery, it works with Car's Clima System (so you can just program it like an alarm directly from central panel) and the only consumption is a low fuel quantity, so wherever you are you just have to pay attenction to have your tank almost full, and that's it. I continue to think that this might be the best solution:)

I didn't see this thread so I opened another in one of the two English forums:
http://www.406oc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... 02#p161902

Some good info there too, we are discussing the matters right now.

EDIT: krzychu.pl, I took the liberty of linking your post over 406oc.co.uk, hope you don't mind. tell me if so.

No problem :)

Webasto used did not meet the sales, can you look at the broken cars.
If you have installed Webasto, is programmed / steer him from the air conditioning panel.
You can set the time, temperature and all the rest.st.
Converter 12V/220 V,, can not be,, too high power consumption ,,300 watts. battery will discharge .

Request to the moderator.
It would be better to move these posts into a separate topic in the technical department.

Unluckly in Italy it's impossible to find, do you think it's possible to find it on some broken 406 up there in Poland? Consider that our famous Ade from England neither knew about its existence.. :D If it happens that you find it somewhere could you let me know? Thanks a lot! :)

Webasto topic explored in the 406th
is one type to 406,, for all types of engines.
There are two versions of the Webasto:
Poorer - only when you turn the engine warms.
after firing the engine you already have some kind of temperature on the warm air vents flies.
Full - warm engine, the blower is additionally plugged the car, which warms the interior of the car.
Webasto runs only 30 minutes.
It must be remembered that after turning off the Webasto before restarting it should be a minimum of 30 minutes ride by car to recharge the battery.
is mounted on the back under the floor (see photo above), is connected to the water snakes of the car on a small water circulation, ie,,, Webasto / engine / heater.
Kilmatronic panel to set the desired temperature, eg 22 degrees.
Webasto and program run from a separate remote control.
Used to get and I'll look for you,
but you must have a remote control for controlling.
The cost of a new pilot in the service Peugeot 250 euros, the cost of the service webasto Peugeot find out after the weekend
But there are small costs.
