Well done to you that you have the original interface. I unfortunately do not have the economical possibility to buy it and I have to rely on a Chinese clone, which does the same however.

When you purchase is already a lottery.

I don'know, i have seen last year in France; it has diagnosed my coupe. It was a Citroen and peugeot useful software.

The PSA group officially only uses the PeugeotPlanetOffice suite and the Lexia eqivalent. And now Diagbox. This kind of hardware/software will let you read and modify every single parameter which can be accessed without modifying the ecu map. For that you need a reader (PP2000 itself will do, but a Galletto1260 is better) and an appropriate piece of software, like WinOLS. Actually at the moment I'm in the slow process on learning how to remap my 2.2HDi, thanks to a knowledgeable guy on www.ecuedit.com.

Yes, something like in the photo, but it was not marked Peugeot Citroen, only the software was Peugeot Citroen. he has told that it was not the original interface, that you could found a Chinese one, less expensive, but that the one he possessed was better. If i remeber well the software was the original.

Bah, as far as I know there is only two kind of PP2000/Lexia: Peugeot Original and Chinese clones. He probably had a chinese clone which was just sold for more...

l'interfaccia si chiama elm32. trovarla marchiata o non marchiata funziona uguale. da come ho capito arrivano un pò tutte dalla cina.
the interface is called elm32. find branded or non-branded works the same. from how I understand arrive a bit all from China.

Ti sbagli, le interfacce della famiglia elm innanzitutto non fanno nemmeno l'1% di quello che può fare un PP2000, ma per di più non funzionano su tutte le 406. Penso funzionino solo sulle benzina D9 (ma potrei sbagliarmi), e comunque solo per vedere i codici di malfunzionamento generici (quindi non quelli Peugeot) e le informazioni base sul funzionamento (non troverai mai le correzioni della centralina al flusso agli iniettori, che è un ottimo modo per diagnosticarne lo stato, ad esempio)

No, è un modulo proprietario PSA, funziona solo sulle PSA e è specifico per esse. Non è un semplice lettore di dati / codici, ma permette di modificare qualsiasi dato modificabile (tanto nella BSI come nella ECU o nella centralina del FAP, dell'ESP o dell'AIRBAG) e di leggere tutto quello che la centralina calcola e pensa.
Ad esempio se vuoi rimuovere il FAP è necessario sia rimuoverlo fisicamente, sia rimappando la centralina motore (ECU) che intervenendo sulla centralina abitacolo (BSI) per informarla che il FAP non è più presente, sennò prima o poi potrebbe dare noie. Questo lo puoi fare solo con un PP2000.
Inoltre è molto utile per diagnosticare problemi dato che non solo ti dice ogni switch dell'auto se è aperto o chiuso (portiere, luci, valvole, bottoni, interruttori sui pedali...) ma ti permette anche di attivare da remoto ogni singolo componente separatamente (pompa della bassa, compressore AC, luci, radio, lettore CD, iniettori...).
Inoltre legge anche i codici di errore PSA, che un semplice ELM non legge.
